Meditate on Philippians 2:1-11
1Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
5In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! 9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Prayer Prompt
Remember our story from Day 20 about Ahmed and Mohammad? You may be asking how are these guys qualified to facilitate a group bible study? Good question. We mentioned in the first couple of days of this prayer guide that a disciple making movement is always preceded by a prayer movement. Besides a prayer movement there is another movement that needs to take place in order for a disciple making movement to happen, and that is a leadership movement.  If Ahmed is a person of peace and is leading a DBS that means he is being intentionally discipled from the background by a kingdom worker, and in the same way the kingdom worker is training Ahmed, Ahmed will then help his cousin Mohammad to start his group by training him from the background. We need to ask God to multiply leaders in order for there to be a disciple making movement.Â
